According to the CDC, over the last two months, COVID-19 outbreaks on three cruise ships have caused more than 800 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in the United States among passengers and crew, including 10 deaths. As is customary when cruises need to be extended due to inclement weather, none of the passengers on board the vessels will be charged for the extra day they spend on the ships. In the case of Disney Wish, the first announcement came on the evening of Sept. 27 as the storm moved closer to shore.
